Amrop Welcomes New Partners in EMEA and North America
Amrop appoints new Partners in the Netherlands, Ukraine, Canada and Hungary.
Guus Ekelenkamp is Partner, Financial Services & Fintech, at Amrop in Amsterdam. He started his career in 1995 with ABN AMRO, where he held management positions in network and product marketing in the Netherlands and Italy. Later, following a successful six-year period as an entrepreneur leading his own company specializing in search, selection, and coaching, he held HR management positions at Aegon, Knab (HR Director), and Kinly (CHRO). Guus has extensive experience in banking, insurance, fintech, and entrepreneurship, and has built a strong cross-industry CHRO network. Having experienced both sides of the table, he has a nuanced perspective on organizations and the dynamics within teams and between individuals.
Alexander Ulanovych is an Associate Partner at Amrop Ukraine. has launched and run businesses for 25 years, working at international and national corporations in industries like Retail, Food Service, FMCG Manufacturing, and Agriculture. Alexander started his career at McDonald’s and was part of the team that launched that business in Ukraine. He then moved to work for an investment fund and manage a chain of start-up food service companies and restaurants, and later became CEO of a franchising business in Ukraine. Along the way, Alexander joined the advisory and supervisory Boards of various businesses. He has been involved in full business transformations, including overall business processes assessment, optimizations and digitization.
Andrew Walkes joins Amrop as a Partner in Canada. He is a recruitment and business development professional with more than 11 years’ experience in Executive Search. Previously, he was engaged in business development and recruiting with a private equity-focused boutique Executive Search firm and worked with several North American private equity clients in helping to fulfill Board and C-suite recruitment needs within their portfolio companies. Since 2015, Andrew has primarily worked with clients who invest and operate within the multi-location healthcare services, telehealth and tech-enabled services sectors. He is focused on introducing middle-market, high-growth enterprises to healthcare executives with expertise in leading and supporting significant growth and operational efficiency.
Anett Andróczki was promoted to Partner at Amrop in Hungary. She joined Amrop in 2000 as a Research Associate and later became a Consultant. With more than two decades of successful experience in Executive Search, Anett has participated in and led numerous searches across a wide range of industrial sectors. She has particular expertise in leading searches for senior Finance and Sales positions. Anett holds a Ph.D. in Italian literature and a post-graduate degree in HR Management.
