Tarunesh is a Partner in Amrop’s Gurgaon office leading the Consumer, Telecom, Media, Retail and Digital / E-commerce practices in India. He has more than 16+ years of professional experience and his track record includes global executive search projects, talent projects, organizational structure and compensation advisory work.

Recognized for his sharp analytical, leadership assessment and persuasive skills, Tarunesh leads business development and complex searches for top leadership positions primarily in the Consumer, Telecom, Media, E-commerce/Digital and Retail sectors. He also co-leads the CHRO Practice for the firm and leads strategic engagements with PE firms.

Having served a broad spectrum of clients over the years, his track record includes global executive search projects, talent projects, and organization structure and compensation advisory work. He also has expertise in partnering with mid-size, dynamic businesses and helping them build leadership capacity for future readiness. Tarunesh started his career as a marine engineer with an NYSE listed Shipping Company, OMI Corp., headquartered at Connecticut, where he led engineering operations on ocean going vessels.

He had ownership of all machinery systems and supervision of engineering teams on merchant vessels. Tarunesh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering from Marine Engineering & Research Institute (MERI), Kolkata and an MBA from SIMSR.
