With a background in engineering and 25years of professional experience, Yannis possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and boasts a comprehensive understanding of the market garnered through diverse roles ranging from independent freelancer to corporate executive, and from innovative business owner to strategic consultant. These varied experiences have equipped him with a nuanced understanding of the intricacies of different industries and organizational dynamics.

His extensive experience in management consulting also spans the government sector, where he understands the unique challenges and opportunities inherent to public administration. This expertise allows him to effectively bridge the gap between public and private sector practices, driving efficiency and fostering innovation.

Prior to his tenure at Amrop, Yannis managed his own ventures in the Digital (Telco-tech) and FMCG realms. His hands-on involvement in the start-up ecosystem has provided him with firsthand, updated knowledge of start-up philosophies, including lean methodologies, agile practices, and the importance of fostering a dynamic, adaptable culture. This personal experience enriches his approach, blending the agility of start-ups with the strategic depth required in established enterprises.

He holds a PhD in Decision Support Systems and Management from the National Technical University of Athens, where he also earned his MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Fluent in both Greek and English, Yannis also possesses basic proficiency in German.
