Svein Ruud is a Partner at Amrop's Stockholm Office. He is a past member of Amrop's global Executive Board, and a past Leader for the global Board Services Practice.

Starting as an Executive Search Consultant in 1986, Svein is one of the most senior and experienced search Consultants in Sweden. Over the years, Svein has gained broad experience from different businesses and branches. During the last decade he has worked extensively with clients in FMCG and retail, logistics, industrial, technology and construction. Assignments includes CEO and Group Management functions as well as Non-Executive Board Directors.

Before joining Amrop in 2000 he was one of the founding Partners of Nordic Search which he led 1987-1999 until the merger with Amrop. Before entering the Executive Search business, Svein worked as Sales Manager in a large Swedish company within the transportation and travel industry.

In addition to executing high level search assignments, Svein has served on the Executive Board of Amrop between 2004 and 2008, with responsibility for structural design and organization as well as Research globally within Amrop. He rejoined the Executive Board from 2011-2018, with responsibility for overall Quality within the Group.

Svein holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and an MBA.
