HB has over 25 years in executive search consulting experience. His long and dedicated experience in the business has allowed him to cover a broad range of industries such as industrial, consumer & e-commerce, life science, financial services and high technology sectors.

HB joined Amrop Korea in 2001 as Managing Partner. Prior to that, he spent over 5 years as the Managing Director of Norman Broadbent International, a UK based retained executive search firm in Korea.

HB's work spans across all functional groups of senior level executives. He has also specialized in consulting for non-executive directors.

HB's extensive search experiences have provided him insight in identifying the precise match for each assignment. He has developed exclusive expertise in the skillful attraction of high caliber candidates with professional career consulting.

His earlier professional career covers over 15 years in financial services and IT including Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, SPNB, Pacific Life Insurance, Trigem System Integration and Unisys Korea with functional covering of trading, asset management, sales, marketing and consulting.

He is a member of Amrop's global Industrial Practice and also a member of the Financial Services Practice.

HB holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Trading/Economics from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea. He is also a graduate of the Seoul National University Advanced Leadership Program (ALP), class of 2011.
