Since September 2022, Gabriele Gradnitzer and Sandra Schrögenauer, two long-time executive search professionals, have been Managing Partners of Amrop Austria. They are thus returning to Amrop Austria in the role of owners, where they were previously active in management roles for many years.
Gabriele and Sandra took over from the previous Managing Partner Günther Tengel, who had managed the company under the brand Amrop Jenewein for almost 20 years.
Amrop Austria was originally founded by Jean-Francois Jenewein, a pioneer of Austrian executive search, in 1979. For more than four decades, we have built trusted relationships with clients and candidates, conducting executive search assignments at the highest levels across diverse industries with all our passion. Our expertise lies in executive search, leadership services and board consulting. Amrop Austria stands for more than 40 years of local and international know-how.
Amrop Global
Entrepreneurial spirit was the driving force behind the establishment of Amrop in 1977. At the time, to unite leading local search boutiques into a global organisation was the alternative to a fully integrated one-firm-concept. And this applies today more than ever.

Key steps have been taken to standardise processes and norms and to set up an integrated project database. The global Amrop University was established together with IMD based in Lausanne and with Hyperisland with the goal to ensure knowledge transfer and innovation.
