Arun Das joined Amrop in 2023 a Partner in India’s BFSI practice.

Arun has worked with leading financial institutions such as JPMorgan, Standard Chartered and Adani Capital, and recently with EM3, an Agritech startup which provides farm mechanization services to small and marginal farmers.

Over his 27+ years’ experience, Arun has originated and executed M&A and fund-raising transactions, built and transformed businesses, managed client relationships, lead and mentored teams, amongst others. His first stint as an entrepreneur was at JPMorgan in 2002 where he set up a team to support investment bankers globally with research and analysis.

After leaving Stanchart, Arun had a short stint as an entrepreneur, where he successfully advised a few Fintech companies on forging partnerships with Indian Banks and Microfinance companies on fund raising, investor relations and rating advisory.
